This young adult book
is a well-written tale that switches from comedy to
drama and from main character Steve's sophomore year
to his senior year. The contrast between his
drug-addled senior year and the bright future he has
ahead of him his sophomore year is amazing, and Rob
Thomas has a knack for depicting teenagers how they
REALLY are. I laughed out loud and I cried, and I
don't think I've read a better recent book.
