My name is Debra but my friends call me Diamond. I guess this nickname
suits my persona,as I can be hard as a rock and yet brilliant in
formation and clarity.

I am an Afro-American woman with three wonderful children and a great
husband at the center of my universe. My children and spouse are very
supportive of my demanding career, my need to make everything all
right in the world and my desire to bring all people together as one.

My favorite author/poet is the infamous, Dr. Maya Angelou. She
epitomizes the essence of the black woman to me.

Work for me is a place where I can demonstrate my potential for
greatness and I say this with a humble spirit. I work with special
people, many of them will never be able to read or comprehend these
words. My special population consists of the Mentally
Retareded/Developmentally Disabled.

You must have determination and end-less drive working in my
profession: operating group homes for the Mentally Retarded. I thrive
on challenges and the opportunity to educate the politicans that
create laws that have negative effects for this special population.

The best times for me at work consist of my annual get-togethers for
all of my clients, consumers, individuals or sometimes known as
patients. We have great barbecues in my backyard, dancing, mingling
and just plain old fun.
