I,am a woman of the blood of:mother,grandmother and aunts who were
phenomenal women in thier lifetimes.I,am now at a point where I,am one
of the old ones. I,know the histories,the stories and all of the
unpublic news of the family.I'm now the one that the younger adults
come to at the weddings and funerals,to ask thier many questions.It's
very nice to have come this far and and know that they really want to
know about the past happenings.You know who did what to who and what
all the fuss was about.My happiness comes from knowing that I am loved
and respected.Maybe feared a little for my outspoken manner.And I
earned it all.
I,am mother of one daughter,grandmother of one grandson,but first and
foremost wife to my eternal soulmate.We are together forty eight years
in this lifetime.I, have been retired from the work force for ten
years.Sometime soon,I hope to write the family histories in a book for
all those who come after me.
I've had many sorrows but always happiness follows.Do I need to tell
you that like all women, I have laughed and brought laughter,I have
cried and brought tears to others,been kind and had kindness shown to
me.but most of all I have loved and am loved.
