My name is Paula and I am 47 years old. I have been divorced for 19
years and have raised two daughters by myself. I have two
grandaughters and a grandson on hte way. I am a cancer survivor. At 37
I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer, had surgery, chemo and radiation.
I thought I would not survive the ordeal, but have had a clean bill of
health for 10 years. I am a middle school teacher. I have been
teaching at the same school for 17 years, not always inmiddle school
however. I think that I am phenominal because by myself I raised two
daughters, survived cancer on the strenth of my own. Sure I had
family, but I attribute my conquering all that I have experienced to
myself and the willingness I had to perservere.
