Hi,
My Name is Donna and I am a survivor of domestic abuse. I am writing
and trying to do all I can to enlighten people about abuse and how to
survive and heal. I am just a woman that has been there and am not a
counslor, but have counsled in a layman capacity.
I run into people every day it seems, that have been harmed by abuse
or have problems because of health or situations that many women are
facing after abuse or divorce. I would like to play some part in
helping people heal and making the public aware. It is frustrating to
see how lives are affected and how little there is that can help bring
life long changes and assistance in long term help that may be needed
in certain situations.
Thank you for this site and the work that you are doing to help and
enlighten the bruised and broken and for the chance for many of us to
heal and go on in helping others in some way!
I am 42 years old and live with a chronic illness that has affected my
life negitivily and wish to support others who have survived or need
help surviving in any of these areas.
