My name is Janice Mason, I am a single mother with three children.
One ,my oldest daughter is Angie and she is 29 years old. She works
for the local school district. My son, David is 19 years old and is
now attending college and works at a local grocery store. My youngest
is 14 years old and her name is Amber. Amber carries straight A's in
school, and by the way, did I mention we are all (except for Amber)
attending college. Yes, I'm 52 and went back to school. I feel that
this gave my two other children the iniatitive to go onto college.
Right now I am working toward my degree in Psychology. I hope to work
with children who have behavioral problems, or just help people in
general.

I am the Editor, Update List Manager and Mentor for Support for Panic
group online. I enjoy it very much and it makes me feel great to be
able to help someone in any way that I am able to. Each night I send
out a newsletter that deals with panic, anxiety, depression, OCD or
any disorders along that line.

I feel that I have came a long way. I was married to an alcoholic, I
lived in fear all the time. He went out to bars every night and I
remember the nights that I used to be afraid to go to sleep before he
came home. I always had the fear that he would kill me. I tried
going to school when we were married but, he wouldn't let me. He
said, "I was too old..." well, I know now that I'm not too old for
anything and now I intend on making the most out of my life.
