Santera's Santuary
- Victoria Rodriguez
My site focuses
exclusively on issues of domestic violence within the boundaries of a marriage. I unveil
the horrors and impact of domestic violence in a straight-forward fashion. I offer links
to valid sites which deal exclusively with domestic violence and offer solutions.
Please Don't Spank
Your Babies - Nancy L. Saltz
This site presents
personal child-rearing experiences as well as my personal opinion of the causal
relationship between spanking children and subsequent domestic violence in adulthood. Also
presented are links to pages that offer many alternatives to spanking as well as other
helpful parenting information.
My Sisters Place
- Sher
My Sister's Place
is a collection of poems dealing with the subject of domestic violence and abuse. These
heart-touching poems illustrate the emotional tolls of DV. These poems will be published
as a collection and distributed to shelters and other DV organizations by The Linda
Foundation.
In The Grip Of The Web
- Judy Gripton
This site contains
information I think is valuable to all of us who are or were victims of abuse. And those
of us who are Survivors. A bit of motivation and a bit of information....and a few poems
here and there which you can add to also. Abuse has to stop & we have to stop it.
Insights To
Domestic Violence - Vicki
"Vicki<Did
it hurt me? 'Yes, I nearly died. Did it change me? 'Yes, it made me stronger. After 25
years of hideous verbal abuse and surviving breast cancer, I took control....and now I
have a wonderful life! This is my story."
Sunshine's
Corner Of The World - Cher Ross
Stopping the cycle
of abuse involves everyone. Victims do not have to continue to be victims and do not have
to pass it on to their children. Help stop the cycle of abuse NOW. You will not believe
how common abuse is in the continental United States. Please check out some of the effects
of abuse and see what you can do to stop it.
Angels
Castle on the Web - Angela
Gschwind
Growing up with
Verbal as well as Physical Abuse I repeated the cycle in my Adult life, being abused again
as an Adult. I am now 31 and I am a survivor. Not only an abuse but also a cancer
survivor. Break this Vicious Deadly Cycle, become Informed.
Clergywomen in Spiritual Pain Support
Network/Resources - Rev. L. Dowell
NATIONAL VIOLENCE
PREVENTION LINKS FOR HEALTH PROFESSIONALS AND POLICE TRAINING DEPARTMENTS. A compilation
of various internet domestic violence prevention websites. Until further notice, the
compiler will also voluntarily research and compile specific online domestic violence
prevention information, if health-care professionals or police departments, make request.
Kat's Korner - Kathy Hensley
Are you an abuser? I
have a section of questions on my site for you to
answer. Do you know of someone that may be in an abusive situation? I
also have some warning signs here. My site wasn't made about my own
abuse. It was made in hopes of joing together against domestic
violence, and saving innocent lives. I hope what you find here will be
beneficial.
Violence Begins At Home - Circe
Abuse is the silent
killer of women, children, hope, love, of "home". We present here the tragic
words of those who live daily with verbal and physical abuse and and survive violence in
the home. It is our sincere hope that by no longer adhering to the "Code of Silence
of Abuse" we can raise awareness, increase public support and offer hope to those
still held in the darkness.
JONI'S JEM - LIFE'S JOURNEY - Joni Mc Gowen
For those who have
suffered at the hands of others, please know that there are millions like you. This is a
place where you can find peace and answers to your anguish. Domestic Violence in your
home, does not have to continue. Take the first steps to get out, be not afraid.
Lady Care's Abuse Realm - Lady Care
My abuse realm
offers a true story from a wife abuse victim and the effects it had on her children. I
also offer the behaviors (to recognize abuse) and the abuse cycle chart. I hope that by
reading the story, you'll find the courage and hope you need.
Dragonlords of Dumnonia's Domestic
Violence Page -- L.A. Malcor
Domestic violence is
a horrible enough problem without additional factors that make it even harder for someone
to get help. Personnel at many crisis centers are not trained to handle the special
circumstances that are added to the nightmare when the people involved happen to be
lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender. While much of the information available through
this site is applicable to situations of domestic violence in general, I have tried to
pull together sources that address the needs of people who find themselves in same-sex
abusive relationships. There really is help available out there; hopefully this site makes
that help a little bit easier to find.
Silence Is Acceptance -- Kathy
My website is in
memory of my sister who was killed by her abuser. I hope to educate others about domestic
violence, and help in the healing process of victims. My site is not just links, but I do
have a lot, both for personal stories of abuse and their victory in overcoming the abuse,
and to very informative sites on the signs and symptoms of abuse, and different Domestic
Violence Foundations.
The Coyote's Cage -- Coyote
This site contains
my story , poetry and a page with links to Domestic Violence sites, resources and
information. Also, since I believe there is a connection between the Inquisition &
religious rights, there is a page with information and links to pagan rights sites.
