"When
Women Whisper Without Men"
It was Friday, last week
We took off our bras.... Ahh
Four of us - one married, three divorced
No men in sight this night
None to judge our middle-aged flaws
Surrounded by caloric no-nos
Whispering about life, and
We simply 'were'
When women whisper
Without men
It can be a balm
Ladies in silk or comfy PJ's
Riding the wings of friendship
Stomping out all superficial facade
Embracing, instead, their differences
With unneeded applause
