"Unopened
Heart"
The
child lives here, inside it's mother
who must have long arms,
long arms to hold the world.
This caring Goddess who birthed the world,
only to think, to feel, to weep
for her lonely children as they crawl
hands open to her very breath.
This woman who kissed my forehead
before I was born
and placed me in the womb of the woman who
calls me daughter.
The child dances here among the angels,
who have no wings or mouths
mouths to tell my parents who I am.
