"SPIRITUAL HEALING"
A Powerful Tool For Growth

Hello. I'd like to talk with you today about a subject that is very near
and dear to me. Yet some people rarely give it a thought. I'm talking
about spiritual healing.
At some point in almost
everyone's life, they reach the conclusion that there is more to life
than meets the eye, Spiritual healing is different. Spiritual healing involves releasing old wounds, from this and other lifetimes. I work as a spiritual healer and the technique that I have found the most powerful is called karma release. It involves meditation, crystals, our spirit guides, and the Ascended Masters, beings who have evolved to a point of being completely light. Think Jesus, Buddha, Quan Yin; there are many others. By being completely light, I mean enlightened. There are many beings who have attained enlightenment and have graciously agreed to help the rest of us on our path. Part of the work they do on other levels is helping us become closer to God and our spirit selves by getting rid of all karma that is not important to our life's lesson now. I've just thrown a lot of new phrases at you. Let's take a moment and discuss them. Karma release means just that. Releasing all old karma that is not important to your lesson in this lifetime. So now what's karma? Karma is the balance of everything that you have done. If you do good things, good things are done to you and for you. If not, there's the other side to that. Another way that karma affects you is in the way you react to things. Take, for example, fear of heights. Someone who has always had an irrational fear of heights finds out during a karma release or another method that he was persecuted in a past life and eventually thrown from a cliff to his death. In all subsequent lifetimes, this person has been terribly afraid of heights. He obsesses about it and this fear takes over more and more of his thoughts. Now comes the spiritual healing. He returns for subsequent healings and releases the lifetime that started this cycle. He also releases his fear. This will include fear of heights, fear of death, fear of the unknown. He releases all karma between him and his persecutors from that lifetime. The more this person releases, the stronger he becomes. It's like peeling an onion. The layers of old karma come off as the person lets them go. The opposite of that is also true. If this person is unwilling or unable to release his fears, he will carry them with him.
No one can heal a person, we can only be a channel for the Universe to work through. It is the person coming for healing that actually does it. He lets go of all worries, anxiety, etc. The healer is then able to remove them. I've mentioned the phrase ‘life's lesson' a couple of times. Let's talk about that. Every one of us came here with a purpose. We had something to learn. This planet is a great learning center in the universe. We have free will, we have duality, and we have physical bodies. This is not true everywhere. So, cosmically, this is a wonderful place for beings to incarnate and learn. The more they learn, the lighter they become, providing, of course, that they don't incur more karma in this lifetime. Back to ‘life's lesson'. Let's say that I wanted to come into this lifetime to learn more about compassion I and my spiritual family mapped out a lifetime for me, with options that would lead me toward and away from enlightenment. The choice is always mine (free will). Other beings that are also incarnating around the same time agree to be my biological parents in this lifetime. We agree on our family members, our purposes, and how we are going to help each other accomplish our goals while on this planet. |
In order for me to learn compassion, I agree to be
born to parents who are abusive, physically or emotionally. Let's say
that my parents are also alcoholics. So my childhood is spent in fear,
loneliness and anger. I finally reach adulthood and become a counselor
to families of alcoholics. Do you think I have learned my life's lesson?
This is all hypothetical and very simplified, but you have an idea how
it works.
Now let's say that I am the person who has a tremendous fear of heights. Having this phobia is so overpowering to me that I cannot seem to think of anything else. When clients come to me for help with their alcoholic family members, all I can think of is my obsession with heights. Finally, in desperation, I go to a psychic who tells me of my lifetime of persecution. She then recommends someone who does spiritual healing. After several sessions (remember, you have to peel the onion), I am able to put my fears into perspective.
They no longer take over my life. I am now able to focus on my work, and on the people who come to me for guidance. I am able to show and feel more compassion for them because I have released my obsession. During the healings, I also release my childhood and forgive my parents for all injuries, mental, physical, emotional and spiritual. This makes me a stronger person and a better healer. I am also a lighter being because I no longer carry the negative energies of fear, anger, or resentment. This is how spiritual healing works. You can see how it can be tremendously helpful for people who truly want to get rid of old garbage they have been carrying around for years, perhaps lifetimes. The key to the success of spiritual healing is you. If you want to heal yourself, you will be healed. If you are afraid to let go of the past, if you aren't ready to release someone who has hurt you, your healing will not be as profound. There is one more point I'd like to make regarding spiritual healing. That is, you must forgive. Say, ‘I forgive myself and all others for everything that has ever been done to me'. Everyone has been misused, mistreated, ignored, insulted, whatever. When we do not forgive, we carry that negative energy and the person who brought this about. We hold the energy inside instead of releasing it. We are not harming the other person by not forgiving them as much as we are harming ourselves. The negative energy eats away at us, making us angry, resentful people. Not to mention the physical effects of holding so much bitterness. When you hold on to these qualities, you do not have room for the light. When you begin to forgive, you open your heart to love and light. It is a very powerful feeling, and it helps you and everyone around you. I wish you profound peace on your journey while in this life and the next. And blessings to Nancy Imelda Schafer, creator of this online magazine, for being a channel for the Universe to work through. |
